I would just like to say that this product is absolutely amazing. It is so easy to apply and the results are spot on. I use it on items that we gold plate. I recommend not using any Acetone to clean items as this causes issues that I quickly worked out. I tend to use smaller pieces of the lint free cloths also purchased and if lacquering larger items I use a few small pieces and have outstanding results. I just use the prep 1-4 mix and let dry and then straight on with the lacquer. I've never needed to use anything else at all to prep anything. This is on newly plated items that are not touched other than with nitrile gloves on.

Our wholesale side has had a lot of clients recently asking to try and save their corten steel. All of these clients used homemade weathering cocktails that they had found on the Internet.

What went wrong?

To get the chemical reaction effect, these internet recipes usually tell people to make cocktails using vinegar and salt. This does cause a chemical reaction in the weathered steel, but there are a few problems with this.

The most important thing to know is that it's hard to control how quickly and when the reaction happens when you're using home-made cocktails. The great instability makes it hard for customers to judge how much the chemical reaction is happening and to take the right action.

• Unique Gel that has been blended specifically to remove tarnish from copper-based metals - will clean copper, brass & bronze.

• Clings on copper roofs or walls. Stays where it is applied until you wash it off.

• Environmentally safe - non-toxic, non-hazardous. Will not harm plants in flowerbeds.

• Apply the Gel - Liberally brush (you can use a paint or chip brush) the gel onto the copper – about the thickness of thick paint. If thinner Gel is desired, a small amount of water can be mixed into the gel.
